Internship - Humanoid Robots (Unpaid)
Work hands-on with real humanoid robots every day at our GYM in Lyngby, alongside an international team building robots that work together with people. A rare chance for exceptional students to see their work run on physical robots. Full-time, minimum five months, unpaid.
We offer a small number of unpaid, full-time internships to students with outstanding academic results. You'll join our team on-site at the GYM for at least five months and work hands-on with real humanoid robots every day.
You won't be watching from the sidelines: you'll contribute to real work, get feedback from experienced engineers, and see your code run on physical robots.
What you might work on
Depending on your background and our current priorities, your project could involve areas such as robot perception, manipulation, locomotion, learning from demonstration, simulation, testing and evaluation, or the tooling that keeps robots reliable when they work alongside people. We'll agree on scope and goals in the first weeks so you know what success looks like.
What you'll get
You'll gain daily, hands-on experience with humanoid robots, which few students anywhere get access to. You'll work in an international team where English is the working language and receive close mentoring from experienced engineers.
What we expect
We ask for a commitment of at least five months, full-time, five days a week, on-site at our GYM in Lyngby. Remote work isn't possible, since the work happens with the robots. Our team is international, so you'll need to be comfortable working in English.
Who we're looking for
We only accept interns with exceptional grades and academic performance. You're likely studying robotics, computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering, AI, or a related field. Beyond grades, we value curiosity, persistence when hardware doesn't behave, and the ability to work independently once a goal is clear.
How to apply
If the above works for you, apply through the form and attach your grade transcripts. Applications take about 10 minutes. If you're shortlisted, we'll invite you to an online conversation.
We review applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.
