Robot Pilot - humanoid remote control

Ever played Job Simulator? Now do it for real.

Here''s the short version: you put on a VR headset, grab a pair of joysticks, and remotely control a real humanoid robot standing in a real supermarket. The robot restocks products on the shelves — you''re the one making it move.

Remember booting up Job Simulator and just... restocking shelves in a goofy pretend office, for fun? We''re basically offering you that, except the robot is real, the store is real, and you get paid to do it.

At HIVE Robots we run more humanoid robots than anyone else in Denmark and Scandinavia. We''re hiring pilots — no experience needed, just good hands and a bit of gamer brain.

Why you''ll be good at this

• You''ve clocked serious hours in games like Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator or PowerWash Simulator, or similar titles where you navigate 3D spaces and build things in-game
• You like tasks that are satisfying to do well — precise, repetitive, a little addictive
• You''ve got good hand-eye coordination and don''t get motion sick
• You can read and speak English fine
• Bonus (not required): some experience with code or comfort in Linux — it just means things will click faster

If you''re a gamer taking a gap year, or between studies and looking for something way more interesting than another retail shift, this is for you.

What you''ll actually be doing

• Steering a humanoid robot around a real store
• Restocking shelves — cans, pasta, chips, and eventually pretty much everything
• Catching mistakes fast — a dropped item, a wobble, anything that needs fixing on the spot
• Making sure things look neat (yes, "trim" is a real skill here)
• Working closely with the dev team, sharing feedback and notes that shape what we build next
• Getting early access to new gear as we roll it out: cameras, robot hands, gloves, the works
• Feeding the robot''s brain — every shift you run helps train the AI to get better
• Bringing the robot (and the hype) to fairs and events when we need an extra skilled pilot
• Showing the ropes to new pilots as the crew grows

How it works

You''ll start with training and testing at our HIVE office in Lyngby, getting comfortable with the robot before you''re let loose in a real supermarket. Once you''re up to speed you''ll move onto real shifts.

Working hours will be day, evening and night, spread across all 7 days a week. We''re looking for pilots who can start as soon as possible — training kicks off on a rolling basis, so the sooner you apply, the sooner you''re in the robot.
